Beverly, WV – Six-Year-Old Child Injured in Pedestrian Accident
Beverly, WV (October 28, 2018) – Police were called to the scene of an accident on October 27, Saturday, after a six-year-old child ran out on the street and was struck by a vehicle. As of now, the child is still in the hospital in critical condition.
The child, from Randolph County, was immediately transported to the hospital following the accident. The boy ran out into traffic on Route 250 by the Beverly Elementary School. At the time, the school was hosting a costume party for its students.
The child was taken to the Davis Medical Center for treatment. He remains in the hospital and was since identified as Chase Doyle. He has significant injuries.
Police continue to investigate the accident at this time.
