Jane Lew, WV – One Hospitalized After Two-Vehicle Crash on I-79
Jane Lew, WV (June 22, 2019) – According to authorities, one person was hospitalized following a two-vehicle crash that took place on Interstate 79. The accident took place on Thursday morning, June 20th.
The accident took place around 6:40 a.m. on I-79, in the northbound lanes of the highway. Two vehicles collided for reasons that are not yet known and then one of the vehicles promptly fled the scene.
Various responders arrived to give assistance, including the Marion County Sheriff’s Department, the Valley Fire Department, and a rescue squad.
The party who received injuries was quickly transported to the Regional Medical Center. However, their condition is not currently known.
The investigation into the circumstances of the accident continues at this time.
