Morgantown, WV – Three Injured, Including Baby, in Car Accident
Morgantown, WV (December 21, 2018) – On Friday morning, two women and an infant were injured in a car accident that took place in Monongalia County on Interstate 79.
Police say that the accident happened around 8 a.m. in the mile marker 151 area, just south of the Westover exit. Three vehicles were involved in the accident, which took place in the northbound lanes.
The injured parties were all transferred to the Ruby Memorial Hospital. Luckily, police have since confirmed that, while some of the injuries were serious, all parties are expected to recover.
The interstate reopened around 11 a.m. An accident reconstructionist and the Sheriff’s Department have been investigating to determine what led to the accident and who is responsible.
