Parkersburg, WV – Two People Transported by Air Ambulance After Two-Car Collision
Parkersburg, WV (January 12, 2019) – Two people were flown to an out-of-town hospital following a two-car collision that took place Thursday afternoon on Route 95. The crash took place around 3 p.m.
Parkersburg Police responded to the accident, where they found that at least five people were taken to the WVU Medicine Camden Clark Hospital. Two of those people, who have not yet been identified, were transferred to another hospital from there.
The accident allegedly took place when a 2003 Cadillac Seville and a Subaru collided at the intersection of Route 95 and Elder Street. The driver of the Cadillac was identified as 22-year-old Zachary Moore and his passenger was identified as 19-year-old Allison Parker.
Police are still investigating the circumstances, but they believe that Moore had been attempting to cross Route 95 on Elder Street while the Subaru was traveling west. They continue to search for answers at this time.
