Ranson, WV – 5-Year-Old Dies Following Serious Accident on Route 9

Ranson, WV (February 9, 2019) – This past week, a 5-year-old girl was critically injured in a serious car accident on Route 9. Police have confirmed that she passed away due to her injuries.

Police responded to the intersection of Route 9 and Flowing Springs Road around 8:30 p.m. on the night in question to find that two cars collided, leading to serious results.

One vehicle was carrying the 5-year-old, her mother, and a 16-year-old. They were entering into the intersection when another vehicle suddenly slammed into them.

The child was rushed to the hospital but she tragically passed away while there. The investigation into the accident continues at this time.

First and foremost, we would like to take the time to extend our sincerest condolences to the family and friends of the child whose life was taken too soon in this horrific accident.

Fatal Accidents in West Virginia
