Wayne County, WV – One Person Loses Life in Two-Vehicle Accident

Wayne County, WV (November 9, 2018) – On Wednesday night, November 7, police responded to the scene of a two-vehicle accident that ended with a fatality. The accident took place in Wayne County on the highway.

Police responded to the area of Route 152 near the Skyview Drive intersection. West Virginia State Police found from their investigation that the accident took place around 10:30 p.m. due to two vehicles colliding head-on for reasons that are still being investigated. The accident took place in a passing zone.

The person who lost their life did not have ID on them, which means that it could take a few days to identify the victim. Two other people received injuries and were taken to a Huntington Hospital. Luckily, they are both expected to recover and have since been released.

Police continue to investigate the circumstances of the accident.
