Anmoore, WV Tractor-Trailer Collision with Injuries on Interstate 79

Yesterday, around 2:45 p.m., two northbound lanes of I-79 were closed following a serious tractor-trailer collision that led to injuries. Police claim that, in the midst of the accident, the truck tipped over and landed on the median after it struck an SUV. Dispatchers claimed that one person was taken to the hospital and another ambulance was sent after more injured parties were identified. Various responders arrived at the scene of the accident, including Anmoore EMS, Anmoore Fire Department, and the West Virginia State Police. The accident investigation continues at this time.
