Fenwick, WV – Child Killed in Fatal Bicycle Accident on Mill Branch Road
Fenwick, WV (June 29, 2019) – Nicholas County deputies were called to the scene of a fatal bicycle accident on Mill Branch Road around 7:00 p.m. on June 27th.
Police arrived on Thursday evening to find that a 10-year-old boy had been riding his bicycle down a hill on Mill Branch Road when he suddenly struck a 2011 Buick SUV.
The boy was badly injured and, when paramedics arrived at the scene, they tragically pronounced the boy deceased at the scene.
Police have not yet confirmed the name of the boy. At this time, the investigation into the circumstances of the accident continues.
